Welcome Weekend (formerly called All School Orientation)

UTMB Welcome Weekend is a collaborative university event between the Office of Student Life, Alumni and Parent Relations, Student Organization Leaders and the UTMB Parents Council to welcome and provide a brief orientation for the 2009 Incoming Students, Parents, and Families.

Welcome weekend showcases the UTMB culture, provides opportunities to build peer networks and introduces UTMB leadership to both new and continuing students and family members.

Welcome Weekend took place on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at the Galveston Island Convention Center located at 5600 Seawall Boulevard in Galveston, Texas.
