Women’s Conference 2010 - Registration is Now Open!
First Published 3/8/2010

Registration now underway for "Celebrating Women: Mind, Body and Spirit" set to take place Thursday, April 22 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Moody Gardens. The annual women’s conference, co-sponsored by UTMB and the Galveston Chamber of Commerce, provides a full day of professional and personal development for only $100.

Celebrating Women is an outstanding opportunity for women throughout the Galveston area to hear nationally renowned speakers on topics of interest to all ages. UTMB’s own Tristi Muir, Joan Nichols and Julie McKee will provide a women’s health care update and Gerald Cleveland, Julie Dial and Patrice Houston will provide tips on improving quality of life through movement.

In addition, featured vendors at the conference include UTMB health care providers along with authors, artists, and others representing some of our favorite female things -- massage and makeup, fashion and entertainment – all adding to the day’s celebration.

Please make plans to attend. Individual tickets are $100 and include continental breakfast, delicious lunch, snacks throughout the day. Group packages for eight or more start at $1,000 and include special recognition at the luncheon.
